  • The idea to launch Moto Amigo had been slowly simmering behind the scenes for years. Between traveling and living nomadically on a motorcycle, working and guiding for other motorcycle tour operations and sitting around a fire chatting with fellow guides and riders, it became very clear that something was missing.

    I wanted to offer a truly unique and personalized experience to each rider rather than a large cattle drive through the same basic cookie-cutter itinerary designed to please the “average rider” (whatever that means).

  • Motorcycles gave me my first real taste of freedom and adventure as a young kid—exploring nearby trails and forgotten roads, chasing the thrill of the unknown around every bend. That deeply rooted drive has always pushed me to explore new places, whether through mountain biking, backcountry snowboarding, or surfing.

    But it wasn’t until later in life that I truly answered the call of the road. I left behind a comfortable office and a promising career at an investment fund for a minimalist, nomadic life on two wheels. Before long, I was crossing borders, chasing surf swells, and immersing myself in the raw beauty of the unknown. The rediscovered feeling of freedom and adventure was undeniable—it was clear I’d never return to “normal life.”

    It was in Baja California that I stumbled into my first guiding opportunity—leading motorcycle tours up and down the rugged peninsula. What started as a chance encounter soon became a calling. Since then, I’ve guided hundreds of riders through Baja and the western U.S., sharing unforgettable experiences along the way.

    After stepping away for a while, I spent several years exploring mainland Mexico in the most intimate way possible—riding solo, living off the motorcycle with a surfboard, and sleeping in a hammock under the stars. That time deepened my love for Mexico’s vibrant culture and traditions, rich history, breathtaking landscapes, and world-class riding. It also solidified my desire to share these inspiring experiences with other passionate riders.
